Ceremony music
Mr. Glampants and I are both musicians so music is the most important element of the wedding to us. We want drama. We want emotion. And we want our wedding to be memorable.
Prelude:
1. Love Story (Theme)
2. Love Theme from Godfather
3. Finale from Water Music - Handel
4. Moon River - Mancini
Wedding Party Processional:
All I Want is You (String Quartet Tribute to U2) - Vitamin String Quartet
Bride Entrance:
Love Story Meets Viva La Vida - Jon Schmidt
This song makes me cry so I knew it was the one as soon as I heard it. Then I found the video below and learned the reason behind the song arrangement and it's just so perfect and so sweet. Cue more tears. I love this song so much that I also used it for the background music on our wedding website.
Interlude for wine unity ceremony (still undecided):
One of these Vitamin String Quartet songs:
The Reason - Hoobastank
Hey There, Delilah - Plain White T's
Can't Help Falling in Love - Michael Buble
OR
Piano tribute: Cure - Just Like Heaven
Recessional:
Everlong - Foo Fighters (cue the song as Officiant pronounces us so that the quiet intro is playing, 10 seconds in and the verse kicks in hard and that's when we share our First Kiss)
Postlude:
This Could Be the Start of Something Great - Jack Johnson
Fly Me to the Moon - Frank Sinatra
