Rehearsal Dinner location booked

When we pulled up to this place, we had a really good feeling about it. It's next door to a wedding chapel and we joked about how funny it would be to take a picture in front of it telling people we eloped. But we decided against it. We were afraid of the backlash even though it was a joke. It's crazy how much buzz our wedding has made around town. No matter how quiet we try to keep it!

Pics don't do this place justice. Inside was even more surprising. It's so pretty! And huge. We are renting out the entire 2nd floor. It has a bar, pool table, dart boards, and multiple music options. It's so much bigger than we really need but that's okay. Who can complain about that?

The staff has been amazing so far. They're so flexible with everything and will let us do whatever we want. (Just like our venue.) Doing hours of research really does pay off.

Molly Malone's Irish Pub and Restaurant in Covington

Our Menu will be:

Salad

Appetizers:

Irish Spring Rolls - Two large crispy egg rolls filled with potato, Dublin white cheddar cheese, carrots and tender corned beef, served with a spicy chili mayo

Beer Cheese and Pretzels - Two large soft pretzels served with house made Guinness cheese fondue with a zing!

Entrees

Smoked Salmon Salad - Fresh field greens, cherry tomatoes, diced red onions, capers, egg and lemon wedge topped with North Atlantic smoked salmon.

Fish & Chips - Legendary! A half pound fish fillet with steak fries. Served with a side of slaw and our house tartar sauce.

Molly’s Burger - The bomb! ½ lb of fresh ground beef, made in house, topped with lettuce, tomato, braised onion, aged white cheddar and rasher bacon

Roasted Vegetable Club - The same vegetarian sandwich Molly’s has brought to you for two years, portabella mushroom, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, red onions, melted Monterey jack cheese on a toasted hoagie.

Corned Beef and Cabbage - slow braised corned beef, tender cabbage and red potatoes in a flavorful broth.

Desserts:

Bread Pudding - this involves chocolate, raspberry, and whiskey butter (I'm already excited)

Bailey’s Irish Creme Cheesecake

*** Cash Bar (in order to discourage heavy drinking the night before the wedding)
